Compete in the Tour de Grandview
The sharp turns, steep inclines and grueling demands of the Tour de Grandview criterium courses have long made them a favorite among participating cyclists. So have the city's laid-back, eclectic culture, the spectators' enthusiasm and the community's historic hospitality. If you've already raced here, you know. The Tour de Grandview is partnering with Friday's Madeira Centennial Criterium and Saturday's Hyde Park Blast for a $2000 general classification purse for the top 4 individuals in GC for Men's 1/2 ($1000/$500/$250/$250), and a $1000 Team Classification for the Men's Cat 3. ($600/$400).
1/2 GC Rules: All individual qualifiers towards the 1/2 GC purse must pre-register and race all three days. Points will be added from all three days, highest placing on either day breaks tie, if still tied, then second placing, if still tied then placing on final day. Cat 3 Team GC Rules: For a team to qualify, they must have a minimum of four pre-registered riders on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Cat 3 with the same team name. Riders for the team do not have to be the same on all days. Points are totaled for the top three riders for each team on each day. Winning team is the one with highest combined total from the three days. Points will be awarded in the order of the finish. Ties are broken first by number of first place finishes per team, if still tied, then the number of seconds, then the number of thirds... Eligible riders must pre-register for and have their Team clearly spelled out on their BikeReg rider profile as well as participate in clearly marked team kits.
